We're delighted that St. Mark's Dr. Simon Gabe will be part of 40tude’s peloton this year, for our Alpes Maritimes Cycle Challenge in September.

Many of you have cycled before with Simon, the highly esteemed Consultant Gastroenterologist at St. Mark’s (and crazy endurance athlete) who has completed no less than five of 40tude’s previous cycle challenges.

A crucial ingredient in 40tude’s “magic sauce” is that the doctors who lead St. Marks, and the world beating research that 40tude funds, participate alongside us 40tuders on our challenges – not many charities offer that – which allows us to get really close to the programmes that we support.  They come because they see we are making a massive difference and they want it to continue.

Have you secured your place on this ride?

Taking place between 28th September and 2nd October, our Alpes Maritimes challenge promises to be a very special 40tude event.  As usual there will be three different routes each day curated by our long-standing friends at @piecyclingevents, graded to suit different [cycling!] competencies.  The elite riders will be attracted by some of the most iconic Cat 1 and Hors Categorie climbs in Europe.  For others there is the tempting prospect of Provence’s rolling country-side and cafés.  Focussing on the finish…the whole peloton will come together to ride along the Promenade des Anglais in Nice!  What a spectacle that promises to be!

Please contact Kate if you would be interested in joining this very special cycle tour from Wednesday 28th September to Sunday 2nd October 2022.

For an insight into how brilliant - and potentially life-changing - 40tude's challenges are please take a look at our films of some of our recent events.

We look forward to cycling with you!
