Congratulations to Dr. Pebs Edwards who won an award for her presentation at the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) Live 2026 last week. 

We're proud that Pebs is the 40tude Tom Smith Research Fellow, a dedicated research post based at St. Mark's Hospital established by 40tude in memory of Tom, the Scotland rugby legend and 40tude's former Ambassador, who sadly died at the age of 50 after being diagnosed with late stage colon cancer. 

40tude is delighted to be supporting Pebs' important work investigating the genetics of hereditary colon cancer, helping to prevent more families from being affected by colon cancer in the future.
