We're delighted that Tom Smith has become an ambassador of 40tude.

The former Scotland rugby captain and British & Irish Lion was capped 61 times between 1997 and 2005 and made six Test appearances for the British & Irish Lions on tours to South Africa and Australia.

Tom, 49, is receiving treatment for colon cancer which was diagnosed in August 2019.  After nominating 40tude to be a beneficiary of the Wounded Lions 500 Challenge in February 2020, Tom is continuing to support 40tude as an ambassador for the charity.

It’s important for all of us to be aware of the symptoms of colon cancer and to act if we spot them. This is particularly important at this time when many of our cancer specialists are supporting the NHS in the fight against Covid-19.
