40tude proudly presents the opportunity to be part of its Team LEJOG (Land’s End to John O’Groats) next summer, and join the elite number of cyclists who have conquered this iconic route.

Now is your chance to take on this colossal challenge, which tops many a bucket-list!  In nine epic days between 17 and 27 June 2022 we will ride the 950 miles / 1,528km from Land’s End, the UK’s most south-westerly point, to John O’Groats in the far north. 

Prepare for epic ascents, winding roads and spectacular panoramas across miles of sparkling sea and countryside.  Ride along rugged coastline, through rolling fields and forests, biscuit-tin towns and bustling cities, and take in some panoramic views across both England and Wales, the majestic beauty of the Lake District and the Scottish Highlands.

Our specialist event partners for this unique challenge will be Dream Challenges, who have plenty of experience of supporting successful rides in both directions on this iconic route.  Our ride will be fully-supported, and the entry fee includes guides and a medic, a support vehicle, accommodation and the transport of your bike to and from London - so all you have to think about is the riding each day.

The LEJOG challenge is not for the faint-hearted - but you can do it!  We’ve chosen to ride in this direction to make the most of the prevailing winds, to help speed us on the long distances and tough climbs each day.  To complete the distance in our timeframe we will ride 100+ miles per day for nine consecutive days. You will need to be confident that you can stay this distance as we regret that no alternative routes can be offered for those who are unable to maintain this pace throughout.

For the final night we have secured a stay at the charming Royal Marine Brora hotel, part of the Highland Coast Hotels group.  Here you can enjoy a well-deserved celebration of your epic achievement and brilliant efforts in helping 40tude to raise vital awareness and funds to cure colon cancer.
